-Class 6th to 13th Grade students (studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board) are eligible for the test.
Note: There would be different test papers for each class.

*What is the test pattern of VSAT?


-Category 1 - Grade 7th (Completed Grade 6th) , Grade 8th (Completed Grade 7th) & Grade 9th (Completed Grade 8th)
  • Paper will contain 1 section - Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) Total 50 questions.
  • Total 50 questions
  • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct  
  • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
  • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.                --Category 2 - Grade 10th (Completed Grade 9th) & Grade 11th (Completed Grade 10th)
    • Paper will contain 1 section - Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
    • Total 50 questions
    • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
    • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
    • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.        -Category 3 - Grade 12th (Completed Grade 11th) JEE Aspirants
      • Paper will contain 2 sections - Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
      • Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
      • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
      • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
      • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.                  -  Category 4 - CGrade 12th (Completed Grade 11th) NEET Aspirants
        • Paper will contain 2 sections - Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
        • Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
        • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
        • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
        • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.   -
        • Category 5 - JEE Aspirants Completed Grade 12th
          • Paper will contain 3 sections - Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
          • Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)
          • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
          • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
          • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.   -Category 6 - NEET Aspirants Completed Grade 12th
          • Paper will contain 3 sections - Physics, Chemistry & Biology
          • Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).
          • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
          • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be 
          • penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
          • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.
